Field House
Field House is a project shaped by questions we often return to. How do we live well, with less? How can architecture respond meaningfully to site, climate, and time?
Set on a coastal block in regional Victoria, this modest three-bedroom home is the result of ongoing design research within our studio. It explores ideas of resilience, adaptability, and ease, both in the way it is built and in how it is lived in.
Working with a tight footprint and an even tighter budget, we have focused on clarity of form, efficiency of planning, and a restrained palette of natural materials. Every decision, whether spatial, structural, or material, has been guided by an interest in longevity and simplicity, without sacrificing atmosphere or character.
